(www.cablevision.com) today is recognizing Animania HD as its HD Channel of the Day, as part of the ongoing "45 Days in HD, on iO TV" countdown. Available to Cablevision's iO TV customers on channel 723, Animania HD is the only channel dedicated to delivering an eye-popping cinematic viewing experience by airing animation in true HD. Animania HD showcases cutting-edge animation from around the globe and offers a variety of highly-entertaining original hi-def series, re-mastered cult classics and specials for viewers in three distinct programming blocks: "Little Big Blocks" (preschool), the "Big Wide Action Show" (6-12) and "Animayhem" (tweens and teens). Animania HD brings 2-D into the 21st century.
During the countdown, Cablevision is recognizing each of the 45 high-definition services iO customers receive at no additional cost, including all nine local professional sports teams in HD. Unlike its satellite and phone company competitors, Cablevision does not impose additional fees and charges on customers who want to "see" in HD.
